1998 Buick Regal- Electrical Problem

Electrical, 1998 Buick Regal LS 3.6 engine
Problem started intermittently.
When driving and putting on the turn signal the engine would shut-off. I could start the car and drive as if nothing happened, then sometimes when i would use the turn signal the car would shut-off.
Now the car will NOT START at all. The chimes ding and all the lights work. When i put on the left turn signal it does not blink, but turns off the radio and all the dash lights.
I have checked the battery and it is fully charged.

any help would be appreciated, This can be tricky. The problem may be your ignition switch, or perhaps there is faulty wiring in the steering column. But let's start with this little test because it's quick and costs nothing. Find the relay for the turn signals. Pull it out and see if your car starts and drives normally. I pulled the turn signal fuse and the car started fine. I drove it and when i returned and tried to start again it would not, so i tried a process of elimination...it seems that when the DRL fuse is out the car starts and runs fine, i have pulled the DRL fuse several times and the car starts when out and will not when it is replaced; however when the DRL fuse is out and the signal fuse is in , turning the left signal causes the engine to stop...

where from here?

thanks sounds like you have a short in those circuits. You need a complete wiring diagram to see what these three circuits share in common: signal, DRL, and ignition. Without a wiring diagram there would only be a lot of guesswork and trial and error. Best to get the diagram from Buick. Then either trace the circuits yourself or turn over the car and diagram to your friendly neighborhood mechanic.
