1995 Dodge Neon lost all electrical power

I have a 1995 neon 4 cyclinder, 5 speed. Last week while driving I lost all the electrical for a few seconds. This happen a couple of times. Today I shut the car off and when I tried to restart it it would not turn over or anything. There was no power to anything headlights gages nothing. I test the battery its showing charged.

Please help if you have any ideas

stan check all connections and especially those at the battery and the ground on the frame Just cause it is showing power does not mean it has good CCA or a good cell. I have seen alot of terminals break off and look like it has voltage but in all actuallity had nothing.

Remove the cables and clean them very good with soapy water and a small steel brush. Just out of curiosity, how did you check the battery? How do you know it's charged? And does your dome light come on?Car Repair Talk's forum.
