Hello...if anyone could shed some light on this issue I would appreciate it. I recently replaced a headlight bulb on my '98 Subaru Legacy Outback, and afterward, my hazard lights (or maybe all 4 of my turning lights?) would blink on and off, even when the engine was off. There is also a "click---click" noise coming from under the steering coumn that corresponds to the lights. In any case, this drained my battery and I have to get a jump anytime I want to go anywhere, but I suspect it's not a serious problem and don't want to pay someone 100 dollars to reconnect some wire or something I inadvertently unplugged while messing with the headlight. Could someone tell me what this sounds like, and how to fix it? Any help would be appreciated....thanks.
