I tried driving m truck today and and it takes forever to accelerate up to speed and i can barely get up past 40mph and it takes forever to get that speed. My oil pressure is low also. I changed my oil last month and when i pull the dipstick out i smell gas on it. Im getting ****ty gas millage also.
I also smell gas comming out of the exhaust pipe and a little black smoke comming out.
Could it be the fuel Regulator or the transmission going. It also idials really hard. I did a tune up on it with a new plugs, wires, fuel filter, etc ...
If someone could help me out here that would be good. I just want it to accelerate again at normal. and jsut last me till the end of spring.
Thank You
Brian
We will try to help you , but first you must help us. Is this the full size or blazer or s-10 version 2w or 4w drive , which eng ?
BTW please do not run mutiple post on same vehicle /same prob it is a waste of space and mind pwr .
it is a 1994 chevy s-10 blazer 4x4 automatic transmission with a vortex engine........
That helps a bunch. The vortex eng has a common problem. Take the top half of intake off (the turtle we sometimes call it) .If you see fuel, have helper cycle key on-off DO NOT START. If you see leaks raplace regulator.
me and my friend found the problem it was the egr valve that was clogged and is cleaned now and the fuel regulater which was bad also .....the truck runs great again... im also glad cause i didnt have much money to begin with till i get my taxes back .. thank god..
Your welcome .
I don't believe I heard that.
