1990 Ford F250 Governer for Winshield wiper

My friend and ol' time Retired Mechanic has a friend that has a Ford F250 . Evidendtly he feels that he has a problem with what he calls a governer for his windshield wiper assembly, ( Ford Part # 17C476). My question that was brought to me to ask of you is, where exactly does it go...or more important where is it found? My friend was given an exploded view of the assembley, however it doesn't really show its actual location, Nor could the dealership inform him.
As it would turn out they we're not sure either "effin dealerships!" Anyway any advice you have would be greatly appriciated
Thanks Mike in the LBC
If it's what I think it is, you're talking about a wiper motor timer or interval governor. It's for the wiper delay....

My database isn't much help on location but this is what one for a 90 Taurus looks like if that helps at all......

Thanks Sidom for gettin back to me, unfortunatley it looks nothing like that one. The exploded view that has been given to me to generate this forum question looked "round" instead of "box like". My buddy Cliff has driven to a couple of dealerships to find an answer to this question, I told him I knew of a place(YOU GUYZ) LOL. I'm sure someone out there knows Thanx Mike

Maybe you could post what you have and everyone could a little peek to see if it rings any bells..........
I cant get it to upload, it exceeds 300KB I scanned it and tried to send an upload attachment, but no dice......or govorner for that matter
You can upload it here and then just paste the link and it will show here.
