This is for reference for others that get this code when checking with a code reader.
I got Code P0306 when checking my 1999 Buick LaSabre Custom. This code is
"Cylinder 6 misfire Detected".
Needless to say my engine was running rough. and the check enging light was coming on a blinking.
I put a bottle of Chevron Injector Cleaner into a full tank of gasoline when I filled up and drove the car until it had about 1/8 of a tank of gasoline left.
I was driving to my Son's house and I notice that the light quit blinking and was burning solid. I also noticed that my car had regained all it's power and ran like a scalded dog. After a while I stopped and visited my Son for a while and when I restarted my auto the light had gone out completely. Even though it did not come on, I cleared the computer with my code reader and have not got the blinking light again.
I had appointment with my mechanic the next day to get it checked out and probably would have had to have the injector replaced, so this saved me considerable amount.
Hope this will help others.

misfires are usually from bad headgaskets or a bad plug. pull that spark plug and take a look. does the engine rough/idle rough when its first started after sitting over night??
