In addition to my ABS warning light, now my SRS warning light is on as well. I had to change my turn signal in the steering column in order to pass inspection, which envolved disconnecting the safety switch sensor attached to the SRS light. Now I can't get the light to reset.
Does anyone know how to rest this light in my type of car? a 325i BMW 1992 DOHC?
Any direction would be great, or else I'm off to my local shop or worse off the dealer which charges $85 an hour....
E-mail me - this is an important problem.
Looks like the SRS system picked up an event. If all components are OK the light should blink anthen come on staedy. You need to have a reset tool or let BMW reset it.
Thats what happens..... the srs light blinks for a few and then goes solid.... I think ive seen the reset tool going for $80 or $160, so of course the light is still blinking... :-)
