my jeep grand cherokee misses terrible when idling in gear at an extended stop and almost always when put in reverse. code reader says p0205 injector circuit replaced injector and plugs still misses only 42,000 miles need help tired of throwing money at it!if you speed up it clears up in seconds usually.4.0l engine.
Brian getting the code P0205 does not necessary mean you have a bad injector you have to test the system
like checking the following things
Possible Causes :
1 check wiring harnes to injectors.
2 ASD Relay Output Circuit.
3 Fuel Injector.
4 Fuel Injector Driver Circuit Open.
5 Fuel Injector Driver Circuit Shorted To Ground.
6 PCM.
Indy Shop owner Update? If still bad unhook the connection and check that the prongs are there and not bent / making contact . we just had a customer in last week f 150 5.4 engine with an 0305 code (coil pack #5) they said they replaced it and stayed the same . we unhooked and looked at connectors - one of the prongs was bent and not making contact at all . easy fix . In our case . Good luck
