2003 hyundai santa fe check engine reseting

2003 hyundai santa fe 2.7 that has the check engine light that has not gone off, recently we replaced the mass air flow and my guess is it now should be reset,if so I have no idea how to do this, can you please direct me how to do it.
You need a scan tool to erase the code and turn out the light. Go to a major parts house and they will read the codes for free. Then record the code NUMBER and have them erase the code for you.
