1997 Ford Taurus door ajar light

I have a 1997 Ford Taurus and the door ajar light is on on the instrument panel.
All the doors are closed but the interior light stays on.What is my Problem?
The door switch on your car is located inside the door panel on the door latch itself. You can spray some lubricant into the latch and it should cure it for a while. Do each door and open it and close it a few times until the light goes out. That is the bad latch. It is not that expensive or that hard to replace. Let us know the outcome.
