my 1995 chevy cuts out as i am driving down the highway the speedometer drops and the airbag light flashes 3 times the tach does not change and the rest of the gauges read normal then after 2 to 6 seconds the truck drives as it normaly would this doesnt happen all the time usually on cold mornings after about 10 minutes of warming the truck up
rogue; That is a strange one, indeed. The only correlation that I can think of would be the ignition switch, but I would think that it would affect the tach as well....Hmmmm. VSS, clockspring, wheel speed sensor, ect don't match those symptoms, either.
I think that you'll end up having to have a scanner connected when the engine is cold and watch live data as it warms.
Hopefully, one of the other guys may have some suggestions?

Rogue, I have given the wiring diagrams here for the DERM. I only see power coming in to it on the Air Bag fuse and the Instrument Panel fuse. I don't see any relays in the circuit.
If the fuses prove good, you will need a scan tool to read the trouble codes from the DERM.
