I have a 92 Ford E350 Stripped chassie with a 7.3 diesel engine and automatic overdrive . Well had some taillight problems and fixed that .Then the backup lights stopped working . While trying to bypass the neutral switch I touched a hotwire to one terminal on the connector and got a spark . I found the problem was a fuse and a relay . After I fixed everything I got backup lights . When I went to move the truck my overdrive was flashing which meant I had computer problems . So I hooked up my 3.0 Genysis and ran the program . It cam back with 4 codes 1. was the bap sensor 2. the throttle position sensor 3.transmission temp sensor and the 4th was I ran the test with the transmission out of park or neutral . Seems strange I would have 4 codes come up at the same time ? Please help !!!! Could it be the sensors or did I blow something else . The Van has 214000 miles on her and no options
I forgot to mention test was with key on and engine off . Also I clear the codes and start it up and light doesn't blink . As soon as I drive it it will shift hard and light blinks .
