1992 Chevy how to pick up Fault Codes

What do I do to retrieve the fault code from my 92 Chevy. Jumper what pins?
Where can I find a reference for the codes?

Post the codes you retrieve & someone will jump in with a definition for you.....


Thackery, make sure the ignition switch is in the on position before you jumper the pins or you will put the computer into service bay mode. You won't get codes in that mode.
