Water added to oil filter

Hi,
water has accidentally been added to my engine oil filter - long story. What should I do now? Any help appreciated. Thanks Have you put the filter on? If not - don't and get another. If yes and engine has been run drain it all out and another filter. I would change the oil with economy oil and filter and run it for a while. Check for milkshake look at dipstick. Drive for a day or two and change it again now using the oil and filter you like. It should be ok but get it out of there,

Thanks for the advice Tom. Was in a real sweat over it. Will get started on draining it now.
