Front Seats - 1986 Mazda 323 hatchback ambidexterous

Are the front seats of a 1986 Mazda 323 hatchback ambidexterous -- that is, can the adjusting mechanisms be switched without too much trouble?

The driver's seat is falling apart, and what I'd like to do is swap the driver's and passenger's seats. Is this a possibility?
