How easy is it to replace a heater core on a 1999 Silverado pickup truck. Engine size 5.3 liter with AC not an extended cab but a 4x4. How long would an experienced mechanic work on completing this task.
I believe that one is a nightmare and calls for about 10 hours!! A guy who does them all the time I know of can get it down to 4 hours. Requires dropping steering wheel and whole dash off and all the connections removed and replaced perfectly or you are back again!
