replacing door handle 2002 chevy silverado

Having to replace my driver side door handle and needing to know the steps in doing so. I have the replacement part, just needing to know the steps in replacing it. Please help. Thanks Whether inside or outside you will need to take the door panel off and look at the fasteners and connecting rods. I don't know how this is broken so can't say if it will need more parts?? T
