had trannie rebuilt after 300 miles short trips to lake it blew the frunt seal .pulledit and replaced the seal blew it out in 2 miles . whats up Replace front pump bushing and front pump seal. What kind of car is this ???
transman 1978 dodge motor home 24 ft . 440 motor with 727 transmisson . has 50,000 miles on motor the trannie housing busted and replaced it with another i had rebuilt by a lokle mechanick . i added a cooler this last time i pulled it . the temp guage on the trannie showes hot when guing up hill and pushing it fairley hard pulling a 15 ft. boat . it would cool down on flat road . the trannie blew the seal in2 miles . pulled it back out the frunt bushing was in place . replaced it ane with some investigation on the fluid there was motor oil in the trannie . i am the onley one that has put fluid in it . the parts stor said i might have got a case that was mislabled . drained it and the torque converter . should i do any thing else ? papasage put trannie back in .drove it 3 or 4 miles changed out fine didnt blow seal but the trannie temp is still running high. put trannie back in .drove it 3 or 4 miles changed out fine didnt blow seal but the trannie temp is still running high.
