my 91 Honda accord lx has had the transmission fluid changed and I keep it serviced but lately it has gotten unreliable. It drives good but when i slow down at traffic stops it barely wants to go when i give it gas. I have to pull over cut the vehicle off and set for five to ten minutes. When I start it an drive it's fine until the next point when i have to slow down or stop under a light. Needless to say it's parked in my yard right now. Can you give me some idea as to what is going on with it.
Thanks Hard to say from the description of the symptoms, and not being there.
It could be an engine driveability problem, low on trans fluid, or some torque converter/transmission problem. Sounds like, "when something warms up, it's not operating properly"?
Tell us some more about it!
That might even be the fuel pump. If you've got over 100,000 miles on it.
