I have a stock cassette/radio in my 99 Grand Prix..Yesterday the light in the clock/LCD went out..I tried changing fuses..It didn't help..I am not sure if there is anything I can do or maybe the radio is simply screwed....Any other ideas?
Them radio's are famous for that. It's an internal problem. I would consider an aftermarket one. Chain parts stores and Walmart has professional looking adapter plates to fill the hole with a smaller face plate unit.Car Repair Talk's forum.
