Hi everyone, most of us have the habit of forgetting something particular all the time. I always end up forgetting my car at the parking lot. I am somewhat not comfortable in saying this, but yes, there have been many instances like this with me and I can’t help myself out. I do remember to carry my iPhone with me but am helpless on the issue of my car. There might be someone like me who can answer my problems as to what do they do or would hope some good suggestions from you people so that I can be comfortable when finding my car in the lot.
My Mom used to use a magnet with a broken piece if antenna attached to it with a flag sewn on top of it. She wrapped the base with piece of cloth so it would not scratch the paint.
Jessie; Don't feel like the Lone Ranger. It is very easy to go into a store, come out a different door and be completely turned around. It happens to all of us over 50. (and I'm closer to 60 than 50) If you have a car alarm, you could try hitting the 'Panic" button on your remote. Hopefully, you'll be close enough that it will trigger the alarm. Your lights will flash and honk the horn. If you are 'sensitive' about this, you could take the other advise...attach a 'cool' little flag to your antenna. Maybe, a sports team flag, ect. I've gotten to the point where I take a very close mental picture of just where I've parked the darn thing. And sometimes, that doesn't even work.
SW Washington This is just a common problem, I don’t think that you need to feel awkward or anything like that. Like, I have a small problem of losing my watches……I just don’t understand where I loose them! But, anyways, as a solution to your problem, I would suggest the use of http://phobos.apple.com which is an easy-to-use vehicle locator that uses the iPhone's navigational GPS system. It is a great application especially for you as your problem will be totally solved and you would like its other features too.
Excellent suggestion! Haven't heard of that, before. Technology~ain't it great? Thanks.
