I HAVE A 2002 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER LTZ, I BOUGHT IT BACK IN DECEMBER 08' AND NOTICED THAT THE FRONT DOOR SPEAKERS CAN BARELY BE HEARD WITH VOLUME ALL THE WAY UP. ALSO THE DOOR CHIME IS THE SAME WAY. I DID NOTICE THAT WHEN THE GETS WARM THEY WORK UNTIL IT COOLS DOWN. I HAVE THE 6-DISC CD CHANGER "BOSE" I THINK.
ANY IDEA WHAT TO DO.
Have you tried putting the "FAD" (fader) onto front speakers only to see if the power picks up the speaker volume? try that, if they are the same level, you may need to replace front speakers, or connect and amp to the front.
2002 is the first year that GM built the Body Computer into the radio. Gotcha! This has no benefit for the customer, but it makes a lot of money for GM because you MUST keep the radio in the vehicle and pay big bucks to have it fixed if you want to keep the power windows, cruise control, and door chimes working. This B.S. is in my opinion one of the reasons GM is having trouble selling their products. Too many people are tired of the huge repair bills every few months.
