My car radio won't turn on. It is a Pioneer DEH-2700 with the detachable face plate. I've had no problems with it prior to this, i've been using the radio for about 2 or 3 years with no problems. I got in my car and plugged in a small heater to defrost the windows. this is the first time i've used the heater. about ten minutes after i plugged in the heater to the car lighter, the radio stopped working, ie: no time, no sound, no anything. I unplugged the heater and tried to turn the radio on again, but it wouldn't turn on. I have checked all the fuses and none of the ones that have to do with the radio or accessories and none have blown, not even the one in the back of the radio. All the wires are fine. I have plugged the original car radio's wires into the original radio and that won't work, so it makes me think the problem doesn't lie with the radio. I don't know what is wrong. If anyone can give me any help, i'd really appreciate it. P.S. The only thing about the heater i know is that it says the brand AutoHeat on it.

You do have a blown fuse. You just haven't pinpointed it yet. You need to test all your fuses using a test light to be sure they are getting power.
i really appreciate it. I found it about 2 minutes after reading your post. Now just a trip up to the hardware store and i can listen to some tunes.
thanks again,
