05 gto radio hates my burnt cds

The stock radio in my '05 GTO hates burnt cds. It plays the early tracks fine, but then the later tracks skip, no matter what. Is it the player, the cds, me? It plays store-bought cds just fine. Anybody else have this problem or have suggestions on what to do?

Burnt CDs are a different format than store bought and many players just aren't made to read them.

Just a nugget of knowledge here. If you are burning your own cd's, don't burn them as mp3. If you convert the files as WMA, it is what store bought cd's use and you will have the best file to be read by most players. If you download music online as mp3, most likely using Limewire or a Torrent app, you will need a file converting app to convert mp3 to wma. (Watch out for copyright violations) when downloading music or videos.

most likely using Limewire or a Torrent app, There are so many people using those nowadays it's like a free-for-all. Come to think of it, it is free for all. lol Just don't get snagged by the RIAA or the MPAA. Can you say "LAWSUIT".
