I'm having a few problem with my 1997 chevy cavalier. Well for one my turn signals just stopped working. they don't make that clicking noise nor does the signal light even come on. Aslo my power locks aren't functioning and every time I put in a new fuse it just blows immediately. Does anyone have any advice? birddmann70 wrote:I'm having a few problem with my 1997 chevy cavalier. If the fuse keeps blowing it means you have a power wire somewhere touching a ground. You need to get a wiring schematic on the power lock system and follow the Power wire all the way threw the car untill you find where the wire is worn/chaffed/torn/broken and repair that wire with the proper wire terminal. If you need me to i can pull up a schematic and put it on here for you.
This could also be causing you signals not to work. MAYBE! I am not saying it will but it could be using the same power wire. GM_Mech_319 thanks for you reply if you can oull up that scematic it would be excellent. The power locks stop working about a year ago and the turn signals a few days ago. thanks for you help....
