Hello,
I would appreciate any help you can give. My bllinkers don't work. There is no fast flashing or solid light to indicate that a bulb is burnt out. The 4-way flashers work fine. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance! When you have the turn signal on do any of the exterior lamps illuminate? Check the T/SIG fuse 10A in the fuse block. Worked like a charm! Thank you SO much! There has been a lot of fuse blowing going on with no explanations recently. Ok, I need some more help! My blinkers worked fine last night and fine when I first got in my car this morning. By the time I made my second turn - no blinkers! Do you know what would cause the fuse to blow again so soon?
Thanks in advance! There is something causing excessive current draw, usually caused by a short to ground(a wire rubbing on a metal object that has rubbed through the insulation allowing the bare wire to touch something metal ie ground.)I have replaced alot of the rear lamp circuit boards on these vans,Instead of using traditional sockets like most vehicles, the venture uses a "circuit board" design on the rear stop/turn lamps and they like to melt. When did the fuse blow? When you moved the turn signal switch for a right or left turn? This might help you in determining which circuit or side may have the short if it concerns the tail lamp boards.Car Repair Talk's forum.
