brake drum removal, metric thread, japanese type

problem removing rear drumson 2004Toyota Camry basically where or how to grab to remove drums for the first tim there is a plastiv shroud around inner edge of drum so no placeto pry against. there two threaded hles about1/4" plus near center of drum near hub . are the tobe used with apuller or bolts threaded  int ot pussh drum out or what? what size and thread bolts?  first time working on japanese type car . thanks in advance for your help4snpx

Answer
Art you should be able to tap the drums with a hammer while your pulling to free them up. If that doesn't work the holes are for turning in a bolt to push of the drums. However you will probably just strip them out. I haven't seen one yet that hasn't. The holes will be a metric thread. Probably an eight mill. x 1.5. The last thing you want to do is pry on them you will just bend up your backing plate.
