I have a 2002 V6 Chevy Blazer. I need to replace the drivers side knock sensor to pass emissions but I cannot find it I have a haynes manual but its not helping can you please help me locate the knock sensor?

The knock sensor is basically a one inch thick washer with a sensor plug on it. it will be atached to the block with a bolt that just runs through the center of it. Are you sure you need to replace it? it really shouldn't affect emissions at all and there's only one on the vehicle. I would think it would be an oxygen sensor first, which would have a driver and a pass. side sensor.
