Dear Steve:
I have a 96 dodge ram pickup. Today when I was out driving the steering wheel locked-up on me then the brakes locked-up then the engine died. It seems to start ok now but, it does not idle. It had been running fine until that point. Any ideas? Thanks a lot.
Answer
sounds like you need a new idle air control valve. when everything went out you had probably just let of off the gas. since the valve went bad the engine died which caused you to loose your ps and your brakes. should be pretty cheap at any parts store.
