Hooking up new 2007 mirriors, factory holes, mirriors

I have a 2003 chevy HD 2500 and I have installed 2007 chevy trailering mirrors on the 2003. They were a simple bolt on too the factory holes, however the wiring connector are different. Does anyone make a connector that will join the old connectors to the new mirrors. Or how do I hook these up. They have heat, turns and power mirrors. Thank you, Allen

Answer
Hello Allen, start by using a Volt Meter to test the output wires for function, Left, Right, Up, Down Adjusting, Left and Right Turn, And heating. Have the Ignition in the run position and test the outputs for voltage corresponding to function you are using, If you adjust the mirror left, the wire showing voltage at the time will be your Left adjust and so on and so on with the rest of the wires. Repeat until you know what wires are what function.. anything left over should be a GROUND, to find these wires on the mirror itself, Use a 12volt power source, Negative being the most likely wire, and try combinations until the mirrors re-act, I would recommend a 20amp fuse in the Positive feed of this power source for sake of not damaging the product. After all wires are found make the proper connections. If u want to have the ability to easily remove, Try finding a harness for the 2007 mirrors for the output wires. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to ask.
