I have a 93 Tempo and the manual shifter linkage bar has rotted out making it difficult to shift. I have been unable to find one. I've had an 88 tempo and the same thing happened so I'm a little shy about locating a use one from a reseller. Any help would be appreciated.

if you can live with out the car for the day take the linkage out and go to a machining shop or even a metal fab. show it to them and they should be able to make something up for you no problem. if they're like the ones i know they will enjoy the challenge, i used to.
