Hope you can help. I want to purchase a 2004 GMC 2500 series 4 door diesel truck from a car dealer. He says it is not running now because the bracket which holds the injectors is bad/broken and he states that this problem occurs frequently with these types of engines. They have ordered the part but it has not come in yhet at dealer. He is selling the truck cheap as compared to running trucks of the same year and mileage. The truck has 103k miles on it now. Any help would be appreciated.

sounds kind of shady! for one if it was a common problem the wouldn't have to order the part, they would have it in stock. secondly if it was no big deal he would fix it so he could make more money. just doesn't sound like he is telling the whole story.
