my mothers check engine light came on during a resent trip from florida. i had it tested and it was the speed sensor circuit. the mechanic didnt know where it was located so i got the part myself but i need to know where it goes if you can help my mother and i would be very thankful... thank you vinny
Answer
The speed sensor is inserted into the body of the transmission where the speedo cable would have gone in the old days. This varies from car to car, but if you give the transmission a good going over you should find a gizmo that looks like the one you bought.
