Security system lexus es300, lexus es300, factory security

Can you tell me how to reset the security system on a 97 Es300? I set off the alarm, now the car is completely disabled. Called lexus 1-800 they said to lock and unlock 3 times with the key, wait a bit and try again, this didn't work. Dealer will not help me cuz i have never had my vehicle serviced there. Is there a switch under the hood? (there's nothing under the dash that I can see) I already missed work today, I need my car. Can you Please Help?

    Some factory security systems can be be very difficult.  Lexus systems may be the most complicated and mysterious of all.  I don't get the dealer not wanting to help you.  I would complain to Lexus about that.  Of course, they're not going to help you for free, and they charge a lot for working on the security systems.  I would find an automotive locksmith in the yellow pages and see if he can fix your problem.  These guys can deal with almost any make or model, and don't charge near what the dealer does.  Either way, you're going to end up paying someone at least $100 (and it could be way more).
