Hi - on a 2001 Mazda 626 v6. Transmission has 66,000 mile and has trouble shifting from 2nd to 3rd when cold. It is an automatic trans. After it warms up its fine. Tranny has been flushed. Fluid is pink and not burnt. I think it is a sticky valve in the valve body and wanted to add some Lucas Transmission fix to see if that helps. Do you have any experience with this Lucas Product? Thanks
Answer
Go ahead and try it. I used to sell the stuff and never had any complaints. Transmissions acting up when they are cold is not unusual, especially since it's been really cold. If it's good when warm, I wouldn't worry about it. If it's still acting up in April, then you should have it looked at.
