Do you know whether the cam belt tensioner I have would be an automatic or manual?
It's a 2002 (O reg,) MG ZR
Thanks
Answer
It's automatic, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be serviced regularly. At eight years old, the car is probably due to have that system looked at. Even though modern cam belts are rated for a lot of miles, their age affects their reliability as well. I'd consider changing the belt and checking the tensioner in the next year.
