1988 Honda (Acura) Legend, honda acura, acura legend

Hi,
I have tried looking everywhere, I was wondering if you could help me...
I have a 1988 Honda Legend 4-door sedan, and it has an annoying feature which automatically locks the doors when the car goes above a certain speed (10-20kph). I want to disengage it. Any ideas? I have looked online for ages, and am starting to lose my patience... Any help you could offer would be awesome.

    Almost all newer cars have this feature.  I don't know if it's the government or the insurance companies, but someone must require it.  I had a Cadillac that could also be programmed to unlock the doors when placed in Park, but most cars don't have this feature.  The only way to make it go away would be to get a wiring diagram and find the wire that sends the signal to the lock relay from the ECM.  Although, this being an older non-OBDII car, it may get the signal directly from the speedo head.  Either way, the locks are run by a relay, and that has to be the way the car locks the doors.  You can probably find a wiring diagram in the reference section of the Public Library.  I know my local library has a lot of this sort of stuff, and I have always had good luck finding what I need.  Double check your tracing of the diagram, and write down the color codes.  When you cut the wire, do it in a spot where you can reconnect it if you need to.  And make sure you don't cut the wrong wire, or your electric locks may stop working.  Oh, and disconnect the battery while you are doing the cutting.
