Camry 2008, friction plates, toyota camry

Dear Sir:
HAve a nice day for you.....

I own Toyota camry 2008 and i faced troubles in my automatic transmission( sliiping, jurk....). I took the car to the officisl dealer in my country and they repaire it, but the car didn't complete a month and it back again to the same problems. This time i took it to a workshop because at that time i was out of the gurantee. Still, no one till now could solve the car problem. Many methods has been done to fix, they change the affected friction plates, valvebody, drums, Sensors but still with no result.
So, i'm just wondering if you experiance a problem like that in similar car or if you have any suggestions in how to fix my car.

Thanks and Best Regards
Yousef Salim

Answer
This is almost unheard of, a Toyota experiencing problems like this so soon.  Even though you are out of the warranty I think Toyota would be interested in fixing this for you in order to maintain their reputation.  You will have to contact their representatives in your country directly, not through the dealer.  My guess is that the problem lies in the computer or its software, not in the mechanical parts.  Mechanically speaking, all automatic transmissions are more or less the same, and have been since the sixties.  It's the hydraulics, and more specifically the control of the hydraulics, that have been developed in the last couple of decades.  I had a '94 Camry, the first year that they employed a self-learning computer that accommodated the shifting to the driver's own style.  They have advanced that technology a great deal since then.  However, if the computer gets a bug in its software, or the wiring to the valve body gets crossed up, it will not work properly.  Because it is such a new car I think that you should count on Toyota for a resolution.  If they are approached carefully, with just a hint of "why should I ever buy a Toyota Again?" they will be very cooperative.
