QUESTION: thanks for your reply! this vehicle's model is 280S quite different from 280SL and 280SE that came out the same year. on #2, part numbers for carburetor repair kits ... this has twin carbs called 'front' & 'rear'. thanks again.

HMMM... Well Lenard, I'm having trouble finding that model for some reason. BUT I'm still looking. I've heard of the dual carbs, but I'm not really familiar with them becuase I've never had the opportunity to work on the Benz, so this is new research for me.

ANyway, I just wanted to let you know I haven't given up on you, I'm still searching and searching and searching....
