How to Replace a Power Mirror in a Mitsubishi 3000GT

The Mitsubishi 3000GT is a fantastic car sports car made during the 1990s. The power mirror construction in all model years is the same, making it an easy replacement project. Most vehicle owners can manage this do-it-yourself job after ordering a replacement power mirror.

  • Screwdriver
  • Wrench
    Remove Old Mirror
  1. Step 1

    Disconnect the Mitsubishi 3000GT's negative cable to the battery.

  2. Step 2

    Tilt the mirror back and forth to access the mounting bolts.

  3. Step 3

    Remove the mounting nuts with a screwdriver.

  4. Step 4

    Take the mirror wiring connection apart.

  5. Step 5

    Pull the power mirror off the Mitsubishi 3000GT.

  6. Install New Mirror
  7. Step 1

    Put the new power mirror on your Mitsubishi 3000GT.

  8. Step 2

    Install the mounting nuts using your screwdriver. Access them by swiveling the new power mirror back and forth to fit the screwdriver behind the glass.

  9. Step 3

    Reconnect the wiring to the new mirror.

  10. Step 4

    Connect the negative battery cable.
