How to Change your Motorcycles Oil

Put your bike on it's middle stand, that should be high enough to drain your old oil out. You will also need to warm your motor up a little so the oil drains out much more easily. Depending on sometimes the year of your bike, you may need an ordinary oil wrench, or you just match your oil pan drain bolt with your sockets.

You take out your drain bolt, drain the oil, Let it drain completely out, go take a break, comeback. Then you are going to take out your oil filter. This is either a bolt that holds it in, or just like your car, you will get an oil wrench and remove your oil filter.

Before putting everything back where it goes, you will want to put a little bit of oil on your oil filter gasket, no matter which kind you use, you want to keep it nice and ply able. So, screw your oil pan screw back in, if your bike suggests to use a torque wrench, you can usually look up any settings it calls for. Put your oil filter on, not too tight. Put your funnel in, and pour in the oil.
