How to Change the Valve Cover Gaskets on a Jaguar 4.0

The valve cover gaskets cover the internal working parts of the upper part of the Jaguar 4.0 engine. This top section of the engine is called the "head." Underneath the valve cover are cams, valve springs, valves and an assortment of other small parts that all work in concert to make the engine run smoothly. When oil starts leaking at the valve cover to head seal, you'll need to replace the valve cover gasket.
