- 1,200 grit sandpaper
- Bucket of water
- Lint-free towel
- Step 1
Wet the sandpaper. Wet the touch-up paint with water.
- Step 2
Rub the surface of the touch-up paint with the sandpaper. This process is called "wet sanding" and will gently remove the touch-up paint without doing serious damage to the paint around the touch-up spot.
- Step 3
Clean and dry the area you sanded with a lint-free cotton towel.
