- Jeep soft top fabric roof section
- Fabric passenger windows
- Fabric front windows with original window frame (if applicable)
- Rear window and tailgate retainer bar
- Original or replacement hardware and top frame
- Step 1
Connect the soft top frame to the front of the Jeep Wrangler. Be sure all the frame parts are securely locked and in the correct position.
- Step 2
Remove the existing front windows from the window frame by releasing the Velcro tabs and pulling the window away from the frame. Move to the replacement window and reverse the process, installing the new window onto the frame. If you Jeep has full steel doors, skip this step.
- Step 3
Install the rear tailgate retainer onto the new rear window, sliding the tailgate retainer bar onto the rear window. Simply slide the bar onto the fabric retainer at the bottom of the window.
- Step 4
Move to the replacement Jeep top, and carefully set the top over the Jeep in the general position it which it will be installed. Attach the top to the front header, and pull the top and attach it to the rear corner retainers.
- Step 5
Snap the replacement top from the inside of the Jeep to the frame, using care so you do not rip or tear the new top. Repeat this process at the rear of the Jeep.
- Step 6
Install the side and rear windows by zipping them to the Jeep top and aligning the plastic strips with the retainer. Place the rear retainer bar into the tailgate retainer. Pull the top and attach it to the tailgate retainer on either side of the tailgate.
- Step 7
Attach the front windows to the half door by aligning the three pins with the grommets on the door. Snap the window from the outside to the door. The snap is located near the hood of the Jeep. Place the plastic strip on the window into the retainer on the half door.
- Step 8
Snap the Jeep Wrangler replacement top to the frame; the snaps are above the driver's- and passenger-side doors. Double-check all snaps, zippers and retainers to ensure a proper fit.
