EasyInstructionsThings You'll Need:
  • Simoniz ("Fix it"®)
  • Bucket
  • Soap
  • Water
  • Wax (car)
  • Rags
  1. Step 1

Park the vehicle in a well lit area that lets you easily access the entire shell of the body. Locate a surface scratch and mark it with a dry erase marker. Search the rest of the vehicle, marking each scratch that can be seen in the surface of clear coat paint.

  2. Step 2

Clean the scratches with diluted soap and water solution, then dry with a rag. Fix it with Simoniz® works best on clean surfaces.

  3. Step 3

Shake the Simoniz Fix It® applicator before use. Remove the cap of the applicator and place it off to the side. Find one of the marked scratches and press the tip of the applicator at one end of the scratch. Slide the tip along the length of the scratch, then pull the applicator tip away from the painted surface.

  4. Step 4

Repeat the application of Simoniz Fix It® on all the marked surface scratches. Go back to the first mark you left with the dry erase marker and see if you can find the scratch. Reapply more Simoniz Fix It on any parts of the scratch that you did not cover the first time. Let all the scratched surfaces dry before moving on.

  5. Step 5

Polish the paint where the Simoniz Fix It® was applied. Wipe the scratch with a damp cloth then polish with a dry polish towel to bring the painted surface to a brilliant shine. Fix it with Simoniz to save you the money it would cost for a paint shop to sand and repaint your vehicle.
