91 toyota camry brake light problem

i have a '91 toyota camry and notice that the brake and battery lights stays on . what could this mean? probably charging system problems .have the alternator checked have alternator line test, you may have a short in the wiring, battery light means charging system is not working, but brake light on means low fluid, or brake problems. if your fluid is up, and stopping is good, with no drag etc, its probably an elctrical problem. Check any fusible links from starter to alternator, check fuses for alternator. you didnt mention is you have ABS. if you do, is your abs light on or just brake light?
