1995 dodge ram rear brake shoes

there are two thicknesses of the rear pads. the old ones are so worn that I can figure it out. replying to myself. to vauge of description. one pad is thicker than the other. one is called the primary and the other is called the secondary. I don't know if the thicker one goes toward the front of the vehicle or the rear. hi , Kevin ,,,,, most drum brakes are like this , the primary is the short one ,,it goes in the front on both sides on the truck.. hope this was some help, the thickness is not what you want to look at ,but how long each linning is , when held side to sideCar Repair Talk's forum.
