I have a 1984 Ford Thunderbird with a 5.0L engine, auto transmission and power brakes. There is a brake problem with the car. When I press the brake pedal it goes all the way down to the floor. In order to stop the car you have to push the brake pedal very hard to the floor. When the car is on any type of incline, the brakes will not hold the car - it will only stop when on a level surface. When I pump the brakes I can hear a Car Repair Talk's forum.
