A/C and Heat Problems 2007 Chevrolet Silverado

I have a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado that has 31,000 miles on it. I am having Air conditioning/Heating problems. Occasionally, it is like there is no power whatsoever to the console (the switches for the fan, temp, and to select what vent the air blows out of) none of the lights or anything will work. At other times, the console has power, but the blower motor will not cut on. And again, at other times, everything works fine, except the ac compressor will not come on, but the motor works fine. and then sometimes, it works just like it is supposed to. I know it isnt a fuse issue since it works sometimes, any ideas please? Thank you.
GM has had problems with their clusters... I haven't seen any yet that are this new but the problems could still exsist....

Try gently banging on the dash when it happens. If it brings it back, you have a cluster or connection problem....
