Hi......
I've got a 98 Toyota Tacoma. The driver-side seat belt has frayed in one strip to where it's now stuck inside the box near the floor. I've taken it apart and tried to fix-th'-fray, but it just got stuck again.
So... I need to know if it's easy enough to replace the seat belt... easy enough for ME to do the job. Is there anything 'tricky' about it? Like are there any special tools needed... or is there something that needs to get welded to the floor... stuff like that.
Also... the cassette player doesn't work, and I've found a couple of used ones at auction. How do I find out which Toyota models (which years) will fit correctly? Is there a web site that would show me which units will fig?
The dealership says that '98 and '99 will fit. But the descriptions at these online auctions say that the unit up for bid will fit LOTS of Tacoma years, including the '98.
Oh, and is there anything 'tricky' if I find one that has cassette AND CD? For example, would there be any additional wiring I'd have to install?
HELP!!!
Thanks VERY much...... artman How's it going "artman"?
Well, sounds as if you've got a project goin' on.
